Any ideas where to get a
sail insignia for a 26 MKII?
Thanks
Tim
I had Sail Care do mine
(after they cleaned my sail). Very
nice
job. I believe they charged $25 per
side. You don't have to have
them clean the sail, but I recommend that, too.

You won't find pre-made
emblems, but your local sail loft should have
stick on material made for this purpose. Older
lofts may have a
pattern. If not, there is a scaled
pattern at

I used it to make a
pattern and provided it to a local sail maker and
had them cut it and apply it while the sail was in for some other
repairs.
You may need to scale it down to fit on your 26's sail.
Maybe
another 26MkII owner can measure the shield's height and width.

Many sailmakers have the
specific sail logos in piles. I would call a couple
of sail lofts. Halsey Lidgard Sails (in Anacortes, WA) had a pretty
impressive pile of Columbia sail crest patterns last time i was up there,
but i don't remember if they had a C26 logo.
If you just want it for looks in your house you might be able to find an
image on the web or in an old advertisement or brochure.
Good luck,
Jeremy
