If you're just going to get a charger, be sure to get a three stage smart charger. I like Newmar. If you're going with an inverter/charger (which is nice but a LOT of work) stick with a true sine wave version, not a modified sine wave.

I loved my TrueCharge 40+ it was able to keep my 500ah bank charged.  I would stay away from Guest chargers,  they just aren't very robust.  I started out with a Procharge 30 but it only lasted 14 months before dying.

When I called Guest Support, they said that there were no sevicable parts and that they were basically throw-away in design.  The true charge is also quieter (until the fan kicks in)!

a quality charger  is critical to battery life.  3 phase chargers seems to be best to reduce water loss.
